The coffee was lovely. The food was great specially the sweetcorn fritters. It was a hot day outside but sitting inside the cafe was like a sauna. Even with the waitress who had the aircon on and the portable water cooler on but it made no diffrence. Please fix this problem. Maybe some blinds but in or celling fans. Also alot of young kids came in askibg for bottled water to buy and take away. Im suprised charlottes dont sell bottled water. The waitress offered the 3 boys a glass of water to keep them hydrated.
Thought we would give you guys another go but unfortunately our rogan josh was very watery with limited meat and the butter chicken had only 6 small pieces of chicken. When I rang to question my order I was told that this is the usual amount of meat and I was lucky to get 6 pieces of chicken as they usually only give 5. I expected better food for the price I paid. The coffee I had for my 25 minute wait was lovely tho. Very disappointed.

Went for lunch on Saturday. Arrived and at first didn't know if they served lunch as the front counter/menu board looks like a coffee shop. Waited to be seated for a few minutes as both staff members were busy. We were ask to sit where we want and given 2 menus. The menus were just printed and a bit torn...maybe they need to get them laminated.2 x different burgers were ordered as well as a Coke...but they had run out of coke. Burgers arrived in reasonable time. The beef burger was OK...thr beef pattie was quite small so the first few bites were just bun. Flavour was nothing special...I'm sure the beef pattie wasn't made on site. The pulled pork burger and coleslaw was again just average. No dressing on the coleslaw so was very dry. The pork was nice and very flavourful. Both burgers came with shoestring fries and tomato sauce on the side. I prefer larger chips at restaraunt...otherwise it feels like I'm eating at McDonald's.Overall meal was average and there was not much atmosphere in the restaraunt as it's walls are all glass doors, so you feel like you are in a fish
Lovely spot for a quiet breakfast with a water view. The website menu was different from the one in the cafe, but what we ordered was fine. Coffee order came quickly and the coffee was good. Would benefit from some background music. Friendly but somewhat inexperienced service. The outside seating area was a little uncared for. I liked the sweet corn fritters a lot!
