This place is more about the food than hotel. They actually don 't have many (if any) rooms. Second, it is a bit cramped, and if you were planning on eating dinner they make you wait until 5 PM (on weekdays) to be seated. This can be very inconvenient. Furthermore, be cautioned that what they mean by Basque Family Style dining is making you sit with strangers at long tables so they can shoehorn as many people in as possible while making it almost impossible for you to get up and move around. If you don 't like feeling cramped or sitting with strangers to eat, this place isn 't for you unless you are lucky enough to get one of the very few side tables. Despite the above complaints, I will say that the portions are very generous, even for a single person, because of all the sides that come with the meal. So while the meals are expensive, if you consider all the side dishes in the value, it is actually quite reasonable. The food is also generally very good, especially if you like Garlic and Steaks. They do have many other options as well. They also have some delicious house wines. The service was also very good. I would have given another star, but I ordered my Steam Medium and got it on the rare side of Medium Rare (it was bleeding on my plate). Food drinks: This review is for dining only, they don 't really have a hotel and this review system needs to be updated to reflect that.
Nearby activities: There is a park and museum within walking distance. Walkability: You will see lots of murals and painted statues of horses if you walk about. Food drinks: The food is way overpriced. Wait till you get back home and cook the same thing for way cheaper.
I come and drive four hours to this place at least twice a year. This is my absolute favorite place to eat and visit. Make sure to tell Scotty at the bar Hello! Great people!
