Jack In The Box - Elko

This location generally offers a pretty good Jack in The Box experience. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service varies. Sometimes they are on the ball, with perfect orders and very professional staff. Other times my order gets messed up and the service is mediocre. Some of the people working there are top notch though.

We actually never got to order. After 20 minutes in the drive through line with the lady in front of us still waiting to order, we left. I don't know if they were just understaffed or what.

Check your food when you get it. They've messed up a few of my orders. Last time I was there, I ordered a #1 and received a #2 burger, and from the looks of it they scraped off the right sauce and changed it. Before that, I received a normal fry instead of loaded fries. The employees are nice for the most part and will help fix the order, but it happens a little too much.

I’m from Utah and we don’t have Jack in the box and I was visiting my mom and wanted to come here and it was literally the worst experience and I now have a terrible idea of this company and the food. I got the sourdough burger and my bread wasn’t even warmed it was like I got the midnight munchies and heated up a leftover hamburger patty and then slapped it on two pieces of bread that I had left out from dinner the night before. My moms chicken sandwich also had two tiny dots of sauce seriously so dry. Disappointing for $20.

When we walked in there was no one at the register, but there were three employees sitting in the booth next to the counter. We stood at the counter ready to order for quite sometime before anyone even acknowledged our existence despite being 5 feet away from us. Once they decided to stand up and actually do something there was a discussion between the three of them to whether or not anyone was even on the clock let alone ready to help customers. Once they finally made it behind the counter, neither till had a drawer in it. We did end up ordering our food finally and the next battle of finding a decently clean table to sit at began. After 20 minutes of waiting, people for three separate orders were at the counter all with questions ranging from just needing a bag to wondering where our actual food is. Took another 5 minutes before any of the five people in the back came up and acknowledged us. After 30 minutes “waiting for the chicken” we received our food which could be described as Luke warm at best. The only good reason to come to this location would be if you’re on a diet. This definitely would not be considered fast food.
