Consistent wonderful. every time I was with jr (and that's a lot), whether it's with family or fellow, the service and eating consistently is wonderful. tabasco chips are great. eier benedict, gold country club, pasta, salate, burger, desert, everything I have ever ordered was delicious and large portions. I never had bad service or eating and the prices are reasonable. comparable to the Dennys or matties and better eating.

The place to eat!. of all places to eat in elko is jr’s constituent well done, good in service and prices can not beat. they can make everything from pizza and pasta to steak and kartoffeln. they are not in a single niche of food and it is also not fatty spoons to eat. when they are on the road, this is the best place to stop!

I have worked at JRs on two separate occasions and fellow cook Bill Siebert has witnessed the same disturbing practices. They drop food on the floor and put it back in the pot or on the plate. The executive chef, Jack March, and Ben French run the show. They pre-cook fish and chicken and store them in pans. I have witnessed Mexican or Spanish individuals spitting in food and handling it with dirty hands. I had great memories of this restaurant from the past three years, but I was extremely disappointed during my visit to Elko. The wait staff was indifferent at best. My prime rib went cold because three people couldn't figure out how to bring me some horseradish sauce. When I went to pay at the counter, another customer and I were completely ignored. We both chuckled at the staff's obvious lack of care.

I ate dinner at jr’s when they want a steak, it is the place to go; it was amazing
