Three of us arrived between 7 and 7:30 pm, and there was absolutely no one behind the counter. After saying hello multiple times and searching around, we finally saw two employees come in from the back door, which was left wide open and clearly visible from the counter. While waiting, I noticed the fry area was a complete mess—fries, onion rings, and trash scattered on the floor, with additional items piled up in baskets. We decided to order only sandwiches, which we ate in the dining room. As usual, we added Arby sauce to our sandwiches, but this time it was surprisingly spicy. It wasn’t until we were about to leave and checked the sauce station that we realized a spicier sauce was available, separate from the one labeled as Arby sauce. There’s no way all three of us grabbed the wrong sauce. We wanted to inform the staff that the wrong sauce was mislabeled as Arby sauce, but once again, they were nowhere to be found—out back or outside! This open back area feels like an easy target for anyone to just jump the counter and take whatever they want. Maybe that’s why there’s no bell to ring... or perhaps it was taken.
When we arrived, we were told they only had two sandwiches left, and it would be three hours before they had more. We decided to take the two available sandwiches, but they had clearly been sitting under the warmer for a while, and the buns were hard. When we went to the soda machine, all the drinks were out, and we had to ask staff to refill them from behind the counter. The restaurant definitely needed cleaning. If there’s nothing to cook, the staff should focus on cleaning instead of standing around chatting. Also, if you’re out of product, it would be better to close until you have items to sell.
