The prices and food quality here are a bit inconsistent, but its generally good! I wouldn't get the monkeybread/pull apart cinnamon bread thing. They will also sometimes have a bread out and let you try a slice. View all feedback.
What Jesse Kennedy doesn't like about Great Harvest Bakery Cafe:
Great sandwiches and baked goods, but they have no idea how to make coffee or operate an espresso machine. Employees continually push water through the same puck of espresso without changing it. View all feedback.

Always get the Yardbird or the Italian sandwich, order online if you choose. Haven't had a chance to have anything else
What a delicious treat! I am a professional baker (managed a bakery for 5 yrs in Chicago so I know what I am talking about. We get all of our bread here and although they do not say their bread is organic they source their flour from farms that do not use glyphosate. Therefore we buy waaay too much bread and treats from them (why can't I lose a few lbs?? They are sweet people and always friendly. Sometimes they are out of things but as I said .. I have worked in a bakery. It is impossible to gauge 100% what to bake vs what's going to sell. Oh and that sandwich with pepper jelly, apples and bacon and cheese.. so yummy
This shop was fantastic! From the second you open the door you feel welcome. The aroma of bacon and fresh baked dough fill the air as little kids (and adults) sit at tables and marvel over their huge desserts, trying to decidewhich bite to take first... Not gonna lie, we went a little ham after dieting for the last 3 weeks ? It was sooo worth it! The cinnamon rolls are everything you could ever want. The cookies are crisp on the outside and chewy in the middle. The huge $3 Big Kahuna bars are divine Sweet, coconutty, butterscotchie, delicious overload... It was our first time and won't be our last!
Smelled wonderful when we walked in. Excellent breakfast sandwiches (albeit a little pricey) and fantastic blueberry cream cheese scone. Service needed improvement. It took awhile before someone took our order even though we were standing at the register. My sandwich had the wrong cheese on it but good nonetheless.
