We found them last year and since then we pledged to mak... read more My wife and I come here on our 1-2x/year trips to the Traverse City area, and we love Planetary Coffee! We found them last year and since then we pledged to make it a regular stop. The hot chocolate is great, and they've got a good variety of non-dairy milks for those who want them. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the process and what they carry, and give great recommendations as well. The shop itself is really cute, and well-designed. It's a great place for a quick cup, a visit with friends, or to spend some time on the laptop. Make sure to visit Planetary, leave the big coffee chains behind.

The coffee I ordered was fairl... read more I'm not usually a coffee drinker, but since I live just a few blocks away from Planetary Coffee, I decided to give it a go today. The coffee I ordered was fairly priced, delicious, and ready in just a minute. Although I only ordered and headed out, the atmosphere is lovely and cozy, complete with music and a comfortable lounging area. I'll definitely swing by again when I'm in the mood for coffee on another chilly day.

My toddler and I enjoyed watching them prepare a few drinks, and you can truly see the skill, care, and love they invest in each one. The decor is beautifully curated, with bright colors and a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!

However, there coffee shop is hip and trendy right on point with 2019 when you come inside. Small standard coffee menu and a small specialty menu. The coffee and the owners make it. Every time I am there I start my day with there coffee.
