I had the pleasure of dining here for the first time, and I was really impressed. The butternut ravioli with Aurora sauce was exceptional—I could have enjoyed that sauce by itself; it was simply amazing! The minestrone soup was also delicious, filled with a great mix of fresh vegetables. And the Limoncello flute? Absolutely heavenly! The service was excellent, making the experience worth every penny. We had Easter dinner and it was very good. The caippino, clam linguini, and chicken parmeson were all very good. We shared a salad and it was very good and more than enough for 2. Service was fair as lady server took our order and then seemed to be distracted by other things. Luckly a young man attended to our meal and needs. The lady seemed to migrate to her regulars. Final note, they charge for extra Italian bread.... View all feedback.
First timers here and they disappoint The gnocchi, chicken parmigiana were all delicious. Large portions as you can see from the meatball rigatoni pictured below. Great open space, bar area is inviting with a great selection of liquor. The bus boy was very attentive and friendly. Wished they had a child's menu though.
Stopped by last Saturday for a late night dinner and to show off to our friends who were craving pasta! They were amazed at the excellent service delicious food!! We all ordered the risotto frutti di mare but substituted with pasta and as ALWAYS it was amazing!! We love this place, not only for the delicious food but because we're treated like family!! If your considering stopping by, don't think twice because you won't regret it! Buon appetito!!!
Family-owned business and it showed as soon as our large party walked in. We had 10+ family members with some who live locally, so as soon as they walked in they were greeted with hugs and kisses... Everyone raved about it being the best Italian spot in the area and it lived up to all expectations for the group. We arrived towards the last 90 mins before closing during graduation week and the wait wasn 't too bad (once everyone showed up). The great thing is that in this strip mall, the place felt like a home kitchen extension to sitting with Italian family friends. Most of the dishes are for sharing but a lot are more personalized for one. The Lasagne is monstrous and 1 was all that was needed for our table as a few people grabbed some and we still had leftovers. We had various items ranging from Dinner Caesar Salads, Gnocchi del Giorno, Chicken Parmigiana a few Linguine dishes. Everything was good as we all shared. For me, I went with the Veal Parmigiana and subbed out the potatoes with added spinach. It was a bit dry so they brought me out some meat sauce that helped seal the deal. The only downside was they were out of a few items (as it was the end of a busy day) so a few things were missed, but an excuse to return back. The home kitchen feel really comes through with the dishes so be patient and have some wine or a few cocktails and enjoy one 's company at this spot. Birthday song and dessert for my niece were a great way to close the deal.
Solid Italian food in Elk Grove! The vibes are cozy, not too fancy but definitely nicer, and a bit pricey. Staff are nice and helpful. Food does not come out fast, so this isn't a place for a quick dinner. But if you actually go to Italy, that's pretty standard. The food is good, not quite great. Pasta is often overcooked when I prefer a true al dente. The lasagna is MASSIVE, like 4 meals worth of food. Eggplant parm is really good. I'd rather come here than any of the Italian chains in Elk Grove, but I think there's room for improvement.
Absolutely fantastic food! The lasagna is the best I've ever had, and the rack of lamb is exceptional too. As someone from Italy, I highly recommend this place!
