This place has been here a long time. Food is made fresh and fish portions are generous. Tartar sauce is delightful. We’ve also had the chicken strips, prawns, cheese sticks, and hush puppies. Fries are hit or miss. Sometimes they are overcooked. Definitely noticed prices have gone up. My husband and I drove up the west coast stopping at lots of fish restaurants. We could not find any place that compared to the fish at Ocean's. Not in size of the fish or in taste, not even close! Ocean's is the very best!!
The Fish Chips are very large portions. The fish is cooked perfectly every time. The Chips Frys) are tasty and do not taste like fish, they taste like potatoes!

Dirty, unappetizing, and with no service at all! I can't believe how this place has a rating of 4.4! This was the worst experience I've ever had. Nothing was clean—tables, floors, chairs—everything was a mess! How does the city of Elk Grove allow a restaurant like this to operate?
This place is exactly what I want in a local fish chips spot. The food and portions were great.
