Maru Ramen - Elk Grove

That was a delicious ramen experience! They offer three or four vegan options. I will definitely eat here again!

We visited Maru Ramen Bar three times in the past two weeks and enjoyed every single experience. The veggie ramen (I substituted spinach for the egg), the vegan ramen, and the vegan tantanmen are all excellent choices, and the portions are generous. If the flavors seem a bit faded, you can request an extra steamy bowl with additional noodles for just $2. My personal favorite is the tantanmen, thanks to its delicious sesame soy cream, which is something I haven't encountered anywhere else. The fried burdock adds a nice, light crunch on top, while the sesame chili oil keeps things exciting. This has definitely become our go-to spot in Elk Grove! Just a heads up: it tends to get crowded quite early on weekends.

Of all the ramen restaurants in Sacramento, this one stands out as the best I’ve visited. The staff was friendly and always wore a smile. The food was delicious, with plenty of fantastic options to choose from. I’ll definitely be returning!

I absolutely love their ramen! I’ll definitely return whenever I have a craving for it. The broth is incredibly flavorful right from the start. I also really enjoy their pork belly fries; I just wish the portion was larger or that there were more fries. Overall, it’s a fantastic ramen spot with outstanding customer service and friendly staff.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff was excellent and friendly, demonstrating great attentiveness and expertly managing orders and tables. Our drinks were always filled, and the ramen we had was warm and delicious. I highly recommend the Maru Ramen (check out the photo) – the pork was tender and perfectly seasoned. When I broke open the egg, the rich yolk blended beautifully with the broth, making it a real treat! I was pleasantly surprised by the broth's savory flavor, which was rich without being overly salty. Also, the Gummy Worm IPA was lovely! If you're looking for a full-flavored beer that goes beyond just hoppy taste, this is the one for you. For appetizers, we tried the shrimp tempura and the gyoza, both of which were crispy and flavorful without being excessively salty, unlike some other places. This was a delightful find, and I highly recommend checking it out. I will definitely be returning!
