I like this place.... although I've only gone twice and each time it was very empty. I have definitely experienced GREAT service from the staff. The bartenders have been super friendly and welcoming. However, it's still on my questionable list bc I'm not sure what the vibe would be like when the folks who come here, come here...you know? It's in a very rural area that makes me nervous. Great place to grab a beer and play pool, funny wall signs and the mens urinal has a soccer goal catcher
Nice place to get a beer and watch a game. They also have beer to go! If you enjoy playing pool they have 3 pool tables. Bartender is friendly with good service.
Good beers on tap and a few pool tables is good fun!
They have three 9-foot Brunswick tables from the classic 80s and 90s in their pool room, priced at $10 per hour. Additionally, they offer a good selection of about 10 to 12 craft beers on tap. I just wish they had longer hours of operation.
My friends and I decided to visit Hay Tone's Hangout before heading over to King's Skate Country across the street. While my friends had been to Hay Tone's before, it had been a while for them, and I had never been there. The atmosphere at Hay Tone's is incredibly relaxed. I expected it to be just a bar, but it turned out to be a mix of a convenience store, pool hall, and bar. They promote themselves as family-friendly, even selling juice boxes that are clearly aimed at kids. However, it still had the vibe of a bar, with patrons sitting on stools enjoying their beers. It really blurs the line between a bar and a place that simply serves alcohol. Since I only drink occasionally, I opted for a grape Kool-Aid and some water, although I would have preferred a Capri Sun! The staff was super friendly, and the overall vibe was excellent. I can definitely see myself returning with friends in the future.
