A great little place in a historic location. The women running the place really get the job done! The food is intentional and they seem to care about your satisfaction. I offer that the led, bright white light could be changed to the soft yellow toaccent the great period mood and surrounding, great decor and fixtures and to help older eyes! ???? And, it would be great ifthere was a couple more local or higher end win... View all feedback.
Glad to find this gem while traveling through Elk City. Staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive to my party of 2, despite a very large party arriving right at the same time as us. The food was excellent! I had the salmon tacos with avocado, which were simple and so very scrumptious. Not sure if I'll ever be in the city again, but if I am, I will definitely bestopping at Prairiefire Grill!
This restaurant is delicious! All of our meals were great. The ambiance is pretty cool too with it being an old train station. I got the salmon tacos and they were great. Everyone agreed we would return, as we all enjoyed our experience.
This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I can't believe I waited so long! I called in a takeout order, and the lady who answered the phone was incredibly polite and helpful, which made me really look forward to the meal. And it did not disappoint! I ordered the shrimp and scallops served on linguine, and it was fantastic! I also tried the fried green tomatoes and was pleasantly surprised. I know it's hard to get fresh ones this time of year, but they were delicious! I highly recommend that anyone who hasn't visited this place yet should make it a top priority soon!
This charming little restaurant is situated in a historic setting. The women managing the place truly know how to get things done! The food is thoughtfully prepared, and they genuinely care about your satisfaction. I suggest that the bright white LED lighting could be replaced with a softer yellow light to enhance the wonderful ambiance, complement the beautiful decor, and make it easier on older eyes. Additionally, it would be fantastic to see a few more local or premium wine selections available to pair with the dishes. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
I stopped by for lunch while traveling through Elk City for work, and I was pleasantly surprised by the impressive menu. They offered a wonderful mix of elevated dishes along with comforting, home-style meals. I tried the sirloin steak sandwich, which featured fresh, tender steak paired with perfectly cooked mushrooms and onions, all topped off with steak sauce. Everyone in our group of six was extremely satisfied with their meals, and I would definitely return if I'm ever in the area again.
