Huddle House - Elk City

Great family enviroment,amazing friendly staff and let's dont forget great food. Huddle House also has a $5 menu with great options.

Overall food was great, though the grits were kinda on the gluey side. Restaurant was very clean. Server was okay but was new and offered lots of excuses rather than excellent service. But we'd go back.

Unfortunately got the experience of working at the Elk City Huddle House, only to walk into an absolute disaster. One of the previous cooks (who is admittedly no longer there, but was there for at least a year) was putting out moldy produce to use in the food. Multiple employees got lied to in terms of promises of raises and better working conditions, only to be given more work and no improvements. One employee actually had to start taking photos of his clock in card because his overtime was going missing.I'd blame the poor service on the employees, but I can't do that when the management and the working conditions are downright disgusting.

Breakfast was decent. The Philly cheesesteak omelet was tasty but a little greasy. The waitress was great, very friendly and personable.

My family and I visit Elk City often and this evening we decided to try Huddle House. So glad we did. The staff was all friendly. The food was delicious. Place was clean. Most definitely going to recommend this place.
