Harold and Kumar were right about their trip to White Castle—the burgers are truly delicious! My family and I make it a point to stop there for a quick bite whenever we travel to Chicago.
The ambiance was lovely, and the restaurant appeared to be clean. My daughter and her family, who are visiting from Florida, were a bit disappointed. While they do have Krystal burgers, they weren’t impressed with the cheese sliding off the patty. However, I found it hard to complain about the price of a burger—especially when I recall when burgers were just 5 cents and cheeseburgers were 10 cents. Now, seeing a cheeseburger priced at $1 does feel quite delightful!
The burgers were great, and I really enjoyed the sauce. I even liked the cake on a stick desserts! However, the floors were incredibly sticky. It's surprising how they got that way, especially since the restaurant hasn't been open for dine-in since the start of COVID.
