We visit The Bistro nearly every day and really appreciate the food, staff, and service. However, there is one issue we've noticed: the home fries that come with breakfast are often overcooked, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays. What User doesn't like about The Hershey Bistro:
Restaurant kept running out of items on the menu. First it was a side, then a meat. Most of the desserts were also out and I heard waitress list several other items on menu that they were out of including the mushroom soup. I think my husband got the last cup. The food was outstanding, the service was satisfactory, and the atmosphere was delightful!
The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The only downside was that we reserved the back room for a birthday party for 11 people, but it was given away, forcing us to celebrate separately, which wasn't ideal. However, the food was fantastic. It's also a BYOB place.
We had a great time at this restaurant, which we discovered through the OpenTable app. If we ever come back to Hershey, we'll definitely stop by again.
The food was great. I’m usually more understanding of slow service in the current times but it seemed every aspect from checking in during our reservation time to getting served to getting checked out were all terribly slow and it was magnified because of having to be at another engagement after the meal.
My friend and I really enjoyed our meals at the Hershey Bistro. I had Grandma’s meatloaf which was outstanding! I never would have thought to put Swiss cheese and sautéed onions and mushrooms on meatloaf but it was a taste sensation paired with the bbq sauce, mashed potatoes and asparagus! Also delicious was the cookies and cream chocolate cream pie for dessert. The Hershey Bistro has a lovely ambience and it felt cozy on a cool fall evening. Our server was friendly and her timing was spot on! I will return and will recommend to others.
