What a divecha doesn't like about The Vine Inn:
We just walked into this pub, I am pregnant and have a 2 year old toddler. The sign said bookings only but a white family in front of us were allowed in with a table. When we went in next, we were told that it was bookings only, the chef had walked out and it was an hour wait for food. The family in front were told none of this. Absolutely appalling service just because we were Asian, and even more disgusting because I am pregnant. I will be writing to the chain owners about pregnancy discrimination under the equality act 2010. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We’ve been for the Sunday roast a few times and I have to say, it’s the best around. Such a friendly little pub and the staff are lovely. All the food is cooked superbly and is so fresh with a good selection of vegetables and it’s all fresh. Can’t recommend this little pub enough! Follow Mr Mrs R on TikTok. What an amazing find! Best real traditional pub in the area. Sat down to sample 2 dishes off the specials board. A gammon steak and the pan fried sea bass. This was followed by 2 proper English pubs, fruit crumble, plus a bread and butter pudding. (NO STICKY TOFFEE OR CHOCOLATE BROWNIES HERE! All well prepared, good sized portions of wholesome home cooked food. As they say “use it or loose it” a great real ale pub in a beautiful location. I will be coming back soon to try their Sunday roasts and more traditional homemade puddings. Had a cracking meal there yesterday, proper home cooked food and very friendly staff. Not very many places like this, well worth a visit!
