Beef Villa
4.0 / 5 (310 reviews)

Description

Beef Villa offers a nostalgic dining experience with a menu that sparks fond memories for longtime locals. While some praise the gyro's flavorful seasoning and fresh, well-prepared meals, others note inconsistencies like bland beef and portion sizes that don't match the price. Service is generally appreciated, though the atmosphere feels dated and some extras, like peppers, now come at a cost. Though the restaurant remains a beloved stop for many seeking comfort food and tradition, recent visits reveal a mix of satisfaction and disappointment, suggesting the need for improvements to recapture its former charm and value.

I was quite disappointed with the flavor of the beef; it was very bland. I've always appreciated the quality of the food here, but it's been a few years since I last visited the area. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I had a great experience during my visit. The fries were excellent, and the beef sausage combo was delicious. The staff was very friendly as well.

If you went by memories I would have given B.V. 10 stars. Back in the day--some 48 years ago--I went to high school across the street at Larkin Highschool. The high school was overcrowded so to help with the situation we had an open campus. This allowed the students to leave the grounds. One of the hottest spots for us was Beef Villa. At the time french fries were as popular as the beef--short for Italian beef. The hot and sweet peppers were free and looked like peppers. Today the peppers cost extra but I believe they are still worth the price. The fries would be equivalent to two or three large McDonald's fries. They would last as long as the beef's. The best part--there was only one size. In the present day the fries come in a paper cup. If you want more you need to buy a medium or large size. Those old enough to remember back then drinks never had free refills. You needed to make sure you had enough money to buy a second drink otherwise you'd have to settle for water. This is something I had to do more times than I'd prefer to mention. Today drink's have free refills. When it comes to atmosphere it could use a redo. It looks old.

I come here a lot to meet clients and associates. Always good food. Service is always good, too.Been a fan and customer since they built this place.

27 bucks, no cheese on my cheese fries, no ranch with my mushrooms, mozzarella on my burger, which I was never asked about. Place has gone downhill over the years. That'll be my last time there.
