I highly r... read more I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The homemade chips and salsa were delicious, the staff was very friendly, and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the fajitas - the meat options are always great, but I have to say the vegetarian option was even better! The vegetarian fajita included the usual peppers and onions, as well as broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. It was incredible! Overall, the service was excellent. I recommend dining in to truly enjoy the experience.

Went on a Friday at 5:00. No crowd yet, but warming up! Service was spot on, from being greeted, seated, menus, chips and drinks to follow. Impressive menu with so many choices. Tried the three enchiladas plate, and stuffed ourselves with greatness, right down to the little sweet corn dessert, that was a nice palatable surprise. Oh yes, and the homemade salsa was excellent my husband never scoops up salsa anywhere, but waiter had to refill for us! Excellent warm atmosphere and this Mexican restaurant just may be saving us a trip to Osage!! Thank you for the entire visit...

The place is decorated like most Mexican restaurant in mid Missouri.the service was great, the beer was great (ice cold dos Equis) and the food was good. I ordered a Molcajete which comes with steak, pork, chicken, shrimp and chorizo. Additionally you get some cactus and a seared jalapeño along with a side of rice and beans pico, sour cream and guac. I have eaten in many Mexican restaurant in Jefferson City, Holts summit, Hermann, Columbia, the lake of the Ozarks and have never ran into this dish before other than when i travelled to Chicago or Kansas City. I was pleasantly surprised. My meal and my date's meal along with our drinks were roughly about 45 dollars with tax and tip. Pretty good meal for your buck i would say. By the way, the Molcajete is huge and can feed about 2 to three people. I packed the rest to go.

There was also no follow-up or inquiry regarding our service or meal throughout our visit. Other tables were served and checked out while we were left unattended. I do not recommend this place. It was the worst service we’ve ever experienced at a small-town Mexican restaurant.

The salsa lacks flavor and tastes like plain tomatoes, while the margaritas are weak and overly diluted with ice. The chicken is not served as whole breasts but rather shredded, resembling something you'd find in a frozen meal. Overall, I was left unimpressed. Dine here at your own discretion. I can only give it one star for the effort to embody a Mexican dining experience.
