What Anthony doesn't like about Camp Bagnell Fish Steak:
Used to go here a lot prior to fire. I had prime rib with macaroni and cheese and fried potatoes. Prime rib was undercooked and seasoned very little. Very bland. Macroni and cheese was box mac and cheese that I could not eat. Potates although good flavor was cold which ruined it. View all feedback.
The best fried chicken I've found anywhere by the lake! The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I will definitely come back to try other dishes!
The reviewer lived in a house that used to be an old post office and enjoyed dining there. Their dogs were particularly fond of the scraps they received while eating out. In fact, the dogs preferred these leftovers over their regular dog food. The reviewer reminisced about their German Shepherd and a hound that also loved the place. They cherished their time in Old Bagnell, which they would greatly miss.
I used to visit this restaurant often before the fire. I used to enjoy the delicious macaroni and cheese and roasted potatoes. However, during my last visit, the prime rib was overcooked and lacked seasoning, making it quite bland. The macaroni and cheese tasted like it came from a box, which was disappointing. Although the potatoes had good flavor, they were served cold, which really affected the overall experience.
The best fried chicken I've ever had at the lake! The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I will definitely return to try more menu items!
I used to live in the house that was the old post office, and I loved walking over to have dinner there. My dogs would get scraps, and sometimes they ended up eating better than we did, even turning their noses up at their dog food! You might remember the German Shepherd and the hound dog. I really enjoyed living in old Bagnell and miss it dearly.
