Lovely busy little restaurant with friendly helpful staff. They have a very good menu with well cooked food at a reasonable price.

After a long day of travel and meetings, we decided to check out the waterfront of Comaruga. One of the few restaurants open in November was the Puppet. Strange name but great food! Big portions, best steak I have had this year and very reasonable prices for a lunch menu. Make it your culinary destination when passing through Comaruga!

December to eat adults and children. Although it was December, the terrace was open and you could enjoy some views of the port and the beach. the food was generally very good. the octopus on the plate were very cooked, tender and tasty. The malaguese squids were the **** point of friction, they were nothing oily and very tender. The fried eggs with potato and foie disappointed me, the potatoes and eggs were fine, but the foie shone because of its absence, very precious quantity and so ralled that the taste was hardly appreciated. the adobo, like the rest of the fries, were very well cooked, although, from the point of view of the picture we ate it,. it lacked much more adobo flavor. The variety of fish and seafood was very complete, ideal for two people. The desserts got a lot too. the service was very pleasant, attentive and the dishes arrived quickly. I will return to visit this restaurant, although surely in high season you will have to call to book table.

This is the place we chose for our dinners during or Spain holidays in Coma Ruga. We first chose the hotel because it was full while the other had a few guests. Whatever we tried in El Puppet was very tasty and dishes were very big. Though they have only 3 waiters, the service is very fast and friendly. Estrella beer is cheaper than in general, the tapas are the same, but the dishes are bigger. We ordered mussels, paellas, fried fishes and plates with mixed tapas (don't remember its Spanish name) – everything was tasty! The location is also pretty good, its just 50 meters from the beach with a lovely view. This is the center of Coma Ruga near the main roads and in a very lively place, which means many attractions and lots of people in the evening.

Normally, if you are directly on the beach with an ocean view, it will reflect on your bill. However, not so in this place. We were 4 people and paid 55 euro total! The food was excellent. I had the Paella and it was very tasty. Would definitely recommend this place. Get there in time (before 8PM) to avoid waiting or make reservations. We got very lucky as soon as we sat down the line started growing. By the time our food came at least 20 groups of people were waiting to get seated.
