Great hideaway place with an enclosed and heated patio that is open to the elements in good weather, closed when it's not. We were warm and comfy on a very cool December evening. Food is reliably well crafted and there are some really interesting menu items. We spent about $45 each including three cocktails and were delighted. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Nomad Eatery:
excellent eating! I had the Korean chicken sandwich. I'm not a fan of kimchi and they put it on the side for me. my friend ordered the chimichurri steak with fries, which was so delicious! we also had the hummus that has the crisp cheeks up. so good. the service was great, but a little slow. I can't wait to go back! View all feedback.
This is currently our favorite restaurant, and we were showing it off to friends. The staff is overwhelmingly friendly, welcoming, and upbeat. The owner, Scott, visits each table to chat with the patrons. The menu is creative but not outre and the food generally good. The only problem we had on this visit was that the espresso one of our friends ordered was so poor he sent it back; they deducted it from the bill.
Outstanding food!!! One of our favorite restaurants in the Beach Cities!!!
Went through this evening with a large party, the happy hour menu was definitely better than the regular menu. Their happy hour are affordable and delicious. The customer service wasn't that great.Food: 4/5
