Grimaldi's Pizzeria - El Segundo

I've gone to Brooklyn, Vegas, Cali, the one here at home in Dallas TX. Ahh-mazing! This is the best pizza ever! Where ever my travels take me I look for a Grimaldis near by. If you have not been blessed with the opportunity of great Pizza, this is your place.

I am not a food critic but I do love food. I look forward to every chance I get to eat at Grimaldi’s and trust me when I say I don’t get to eat there as often as I would like. Grimaldi’s is about an hour away from where I live but well worth the hour long drive! Every single bite is an explosion of exquisite flavor, each ingredient is in a class by itself you can taste every single flavor individually. The cheese the pepperoni the sauce all have their own flavors to cherish. I totally recommend asking for extra basil baked on top of your pie. You can thank me later. This place has never disappointed me! The only bad thing about Grimaldi’s is that there is not one in my area (Rancho Cucamonga) as it’s not that easy to convince my husband to drive an hour away for some pizza. Needless to say I only get it 2-4 times a year. So i f you live in the Manhattan Beach area you really need to try Grimaldi’s and if you don’t live in the area trust me when I tell ya it’s worth the drive!

I am originally from CT and NYC was my 2nd home. I love a good pizza! I grew up having some of the best pizza and its so hard to get a decent pizza in Southern California. I had forgotten about Grimaldie's in El Segundo. I just thought it was another chain Copycat from the Original Coal Oven from NYC restaurant that is going to be disappointing. I decided to give it a try.. We sat at the bar and ordered a 1/2 Margarita and Italian Sausage/Red Peppers. We had a carafe of Red Wine and Grimaldie's House Salad. The Pizza came out perfectly cooked with all fresh ingredients and it was amazing!! Yes, finally I have another great option for pizza close by my place. If you like to try a NYC pizza I suggest this place you will NOT be disappointed!! The price is like NYC pizza but still cheaper to have it here than flying to NYC. Overall I loved it!! Great service and fresh ingredients! They do put a lot of sauce on their pizza so if you don't like a lot of sauce ask them to go easy on the sauce but, the sauce is really good. Enjoy So Cal Peeps! Grimaldie's El Segundo has a regular customer.

The best pizza: me and my boyfriend love love love this place: Our server Luke is the best ...great guy : Unforgetable experience too ..guess who we bump with...Vince Vaughn...damn his a good looking guy..Until now I feel like I'm in heaven..

Love this place. My server, Luke was awesome. Food is great. I highly recommend that you go and enjoy the food and the classic decor.
