What Jennifer Geminn doesn't like about Pizza Gourmet San Antonio At El Sargento:
The pizza was terrible: burnt and bitter on the bottom, and doughy and underbaked on the top and crust. For 270 pesos per pizza, I expected it to be edible. The server was clueless and kept mixing up table orders, putting someone else's food on other tables, then taking it to the correct table... repeatedly. Totally not COVID safe. View all feedback.

I can’t believe these other reviews.. The pizza is fantastic and the salads are very good. The chef imports the flour from Italy and the pizza is easily the best in La Ventana. The service is pretty quick by La Ventana standards. The band that plays live music here makes the whole experience. There’s a ping pong table too. All of that being said, I would not order pasta here again. Still a top 5 spot to hit in La Ventana. Highly recommend.

Casual environment but the pizza is really undercooked and expensive. Light on toppings and bland. Cold night so the band played one song and quit. Pretty disappointing as there is a lot of good/reasonably priced food in town. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: MX$200–300
My wife and I being from the New York/New Jersey area know pizza and I have to say this pizza is pretty darn good. You can taste the quality in every bite. I see on some reviews people complaining about prices. But after coming from Seattle where you pay $30+ for a pie, the prices here seem reasonable at under $20. Kid-friendliness: Ping pong table Service: Dine in
