Loved the food!! It's downtown so parking isn't easy but we came on a Sunday and it was perfect. Practically no crowd so it was very personalized service. We will definable be back! View all feedback.

I really like the location, near the the night life of downtown El Paso, TX. Waiter didn’t even ask us what we wanted to drink so we just had water. We had the carne asada fries, not too bad but the fries were a little burnt, and the Lamb burger was alright, I tasted more hamburgers meat than lamb meat. I haven't been able to travel as much as I normally do since moving to El Paso during the pandemic, so I try to seek out the foods that remind me of places I've been. Enter Pot Au Feu and the destinations it reminds me of...I've never been able to make it since they open at weird hours. I finally went with some friends and we had a great time, one actually worked down the street and had no idea it was here! So it goes here in El Paso, little hidden treasures everywhere. The Monte Cristo sandwich is a deep fried ham and cheese sandwich sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with blackberry jam. It's sweet, savory, warm, ooey gooey, and decadent. Theirs is as good as the one at the Blue Bayou at Disneyland. Their duck confit sandwich is crunchy, the greens bright and fresh and a good contrast to the housemade shredded duck, tender and lean. Reminds me of les sandwichs lunches I ate in Paris next to the Seine at the cafes. The Poutine fries here was a disappointment. It was soggy and with melted cheese on it. No rich sauce and definitely no delightful snap from the cheese curds here. I was so looking forward to this as a substitute for not being able to travel to Vancouver at this time. The charcuterie board is excellent though, with various meats and cheeses to tempt different taste buds and the rich grainy mustard brought out the best texture and flavors. Reminds me of picnicking at Balboa park. Unfortunately the decor and parking aren't anything to write home about, but the service and food makes up for it! I would definitely come again and bring hubby and friends to share memories and make merry. Pot Au Feu 915 503 8158 307 E Franklin Ave, El Paso, TX 79901
Was visiting my hometown and wanted to make sure one of my great dining experiences was here. This place held a lot of memories with great friends and great food. To say that I was taken àback by the menu change and the overall changes in general is an understatement. The menu went from a small list but great meal entrees like chimchurri ribeyes, smoked duck, specialty items like swordfish to now a small list of various ways of serving fries pomme frites . I was happy that my favorite dessert was still available the white chocolate creme brulee but even that did not come with the simple added touches that made dining there not only a joy to the taste buds but to the eye as well. When Pot Au Fue first opened, I believed it rivaled the well known Cafe Central heck, I believed in time they could take their place as the popular place for fine dining. This change in menu has changed all that, and not for the better. Hopefully in time they will return to the old menu and again enchant us with something truly unique in our dusty gem we call El Paso.
Went to eat some brunch here. Waited outside for it to open. Watched a couple employees go inside and waited more. Finally after 10 minutes past open time the restaurant was not open. They saw me outside waiting. I decided there was little motivation to open on time so I guessed the service and food would be under motivated as well so I left.
