What Beachboy doesn't like about Playa Azul:
There is a decent amount of parking here. However, it is shared with other businesses. I walked in, and there was no wait to be seated sign. With only 1 person in front of me, it took a minute to get seated. My drink order was taken right away, and then I had to ask for the only refill I would get. The food was cold, was brought out at different times, and was cooked in old oil. It gave the appearance of being burnt. It took a long time before we got our food.The restaurant was very hot, no refrigerated air and the evaporative cooler they had, was not working. The men’s restroom urinal was not working. First bad experience.They were understaffed as well. The one waitress that was there was the only one and was doing everything. She tried.They need to invest and upgrade their facility.Very disappointed.

We ordered the special and we went to pay they charged us the double because they said they had run out of the special and gave us the regular price. The shrimp was not deveined and it was disgusting.
The shrimp cocktail was full of avocado shrimp. Delicious! My wife’s brochette was plentiful and just as delicious. The service was prompt the waitress was pleasant. We will patronize the playa azul again.
