What User doesn't like about Katsura Sushi:
food quality was bad. and service. over salted mistsuppe. over spiced calamari. overloaded for simple sushi rolls that bland tasted. to make them over 30 2 rolls. server are not even familiar with what they sell or serve. the first and last time to eat here. View all feedback.
Miso suppe was tasty, sushi rolls were in order, not as I expected they could have done better.
This establishment is practicing unethical business!!!! This place needs to be reported for blind siding customers and not advertising their increased menu price for each individual item. Placing a little note on the menu does not suffice for informing customers of how much prices have increased. This is unethical business practice!!! Food was not worth what they are charging and the food was horrible! Not even worth 1star!!!
Very upset. I used to come here all the time and the food was decent for the price. Now they have upped their prices and still have the old prices on the menu. I paid 90 dollars for two people when I used to pay 50 max for the same amount of food. Horrible this will be my last time going there.
Decided to get dinner with an old friend visiting from Dallas. We were sat down fairly quickly but it was all downhill from there. Took a significant amount of time to get drinks only to screw up the lemonade and our waitress forgot our appetizer. The free miso soup sounded nice but then upon receiving the miso, you might as well boiled some water with some grass cuts cause that’s all it tasted like. When we received our food my friend’s girlfriend noticed the fish was not fresh and had it sent back. I pushed through as best I could but also came to the same conclusion, oh we weren’t served napkins either. This whole ordeal took over 50 minutes!! The only reason I tipped was because it looked like the waitress was new and I felt sympathetic to her situation. I didn’t want to leave a negative review until I was forced to live in the bathroom for two days. I feel bad leaving this review cause I typically just don’t go back to places with a negative experience but it’s a health concern now.
So I understand that companies have different hours for vacation, but if they show them to see for publicity and we still have at the hours of operation for dunes in, they have the grace to kick us, say that they are now closed, only after they are greeted at the door and a table to sit just shows their bad service and justifies all their reviews. word of mouth travels fast...so do reviews. thank you so much that they don't care for us tonight! we landed otherwise where with better service and eating.
