Really good bbq but no smoker on site. For El Paso, in my opinion, is second best. 1st is Tony's Pit bbq, and 3rd best is Rudy's. If you have other suggestions let me know. View all feedback.
What SeatteWAtraveler doesn't like about Johnny's Pit Barbecue Restaurant:
This place had tender brisket, the sauce was more the vinegar type than sweet. Went on a Tuesday, they only do ribs on Saturdays, made me sad! The potato salad was really good also not sweet. I would recommend restaurant is clean and the customer service was excellent! View all feedback.
Johnny's is a classic hole in the wall BBQ operation with smokey meats and cool sides. The ambiance is non existant, however, the friendly service and delicious backyard style BBQ more than makes up for it. The beef brisket is juicy, tender, as well as having hints of hard wood. This establishment exceeds the quality of other competitors in the city. Go to Johnny's for smoked meat done right.
Had a mustard hot dog so delish!! First time and will be coming back whenever I want something simple and delish
First timer review Nice local spot. The rumors were definitely true. Great flavors and portions sizes. Fast, hot, and simple. They’ll even clean the table for you. 9/10 absolutely recommend for soothing those bbq cravings.
A local favorite burritos and sandwiches, ribs on Saturday. The potato salad is the best ever! One of the great local places run by the same woman for a few decades.
The food was great and the people welcomed us Kansans like we were family.
