Contribute FeedbackDespite some service issues, Famous Dave's offers tasty food at a good value. One reviewer was disappointed with reservations not being honored and cold side dishes, but another enjoyed delicious BBQ after a long wait. Texas Road House suffered from noise and long waits, while Famous Dave's provided excellent food and a great atmosphere for a family meal. Customers pass through each year to have a delicious meal and enjoy the friendly service. So, while service might not always be perfect, Famous Dave's is still worth a visit for its tasty food and overall good value.
We did not have a reservation, but the restaurant seated us right away at a table that was too small for our group, then promptly moved us to a larger table. The food was typical of what you would expect from Famous Dave's.

We made reservations and when we got there our table was ready. This was our first time going to the restaurant. We just moved from California to Las Cruces and the food it's very tasty we really enjoyed going there.
We made a 7:30 reservation and they still made us wait 20 min to be seated. People who arrived after us were being seated before us. Hostess had a little bit of an attitude when we brought it to her attention. Once we were seated, the service was much better and the food was excellent.
