Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant landscape presents a mixed bag, with patrons praising its vibrant atmosphere and joyful service while expressing disappointment in food quality and customer interactions. Many diners hailed it as an authentic Puerto Rican haven, celebrating the flavorful dishes and generous portions, while others reported significant issues, including incorrect orders, overly salty fare, and unseasoned meats. Despite the warm ambiance reminiscent of island life, several reviewers voiced frustration with the service, suggesting a decline in standards. Overall, while some guests left feeling transported back to Puerto Rico, others encouraged potential diners to explore different establishments for Caribbean cuisine.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. My order was messed up and it took a long time to receive my food. When it finally arrived, the fried pork chops were still frozen in the middle. The waitress had them remade, but it took even longer to eat. The food was average tasting once I finally got it. The prices are high, but the portions are generous. The drinks are not made with natural juices and avocado is not offered on the menu. The beef empanada was too greasy, but tasted okay. Overall, I would recommend trying a different restaurant for Caribbean cuisine.
I enjoyed the food here it was delicious rice was not really hot it was served warm but still delicious! The empanadillas were delicious I enjoyed my meal over all great restaurant. Beautiful artwork on the walls had to share with my family and friends.
Food was good . we live in New Mexico and I really wanted Puerto Rican pasteles so I went and also brought some home.
This is by far, the best food I've had here, and I've been on a mission to visit a lot of places in this area to try the food.Thee absolute best Puerto Rican food anywhere, darn near as if your on the island yourself. Their sweet tea is also unmatched, no restaurant I've been to has had sweet tea this good.
First off, the first impression: from the moment I placed the order over the phone to the moment I walked in to pickup my order, I didn't feel welcome.Poor customer service: I had a very large order and I was treated as though I was beggar. The food was extremely salty and the tostones were rubbery, as if they were from the day before and reheated.I believe in giving restaurants second chances; but, this is the last time I buy food from here, so long repeat business. Were in the middle of a pandemic where businesses are struggling to stay afloat and this is how you treat customers?!I will definitely take my business elsewhere! Terrible!
