Driving by this place one week before Christmas(2014) saw the sign ORDER YOUR TAMALES. I have NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE, So I took a chance and ordered 2 dozen (12 chkn, 12 pork) for my family Christmas day Breakfast. The staff were very nice and professional. And I was impressed that the tamales were ready 2days BEFORE Christmas! And the verdict on the tamales? EXCELLENT!!! Not one person was dissappointed AT ALL! Not too small, The masa was perfect, not oversalted like most places, the perfect blend of vegetables and sauce, and the meat portions were great! El Salvadoreño gained a handful of new customers with us! I highly recommend it to coworkers and friends. Cant wait to go back and try other plates that looked great at customer tables as i was waiting at this cozy little spot! Gracias El Salvadoreño! Feliz Navidad y Año prospero!!!
These are, without a doubt, the best pupusas I've had in seven years! I highly recommend that everyone takes a moment to stop by and try this delicious food.

These are the best pupusas I've ever had! This place is my number one choice, and I've been going there since 1989. I absolutely love it!
