101 Bbq Karaoke - El Monte

This establishment appears to be lovely. I'm just unsure of how to make a reservation as nobody is answering the phone.

We arrived at midnight and they did not let us in because they said it was closed (although the hours open say til 2am.) but there were many people inside (all Asian) and while we left another group we came in. our fraction was Hispanic/White, so we felt discriminated and certain that we were therefore rejected. regrettable that they did not take our business.

Apologies for not taking photos, but trust me when I say the owner truly cares about the dishes he serves. As a sushi chef, he is a kind man who values his customers' opinions. My sister and I decided to try this place and were pleasantly surprised by the taste and ease of dining. We ordered sushi rolls, sashimi, and sashimi salad. The salad was my sister's favorite, with its well-balanced sweetness complementing the rich taste of the fish. The fresh and beautiful dish had a perfect ratio of fish to salad, and the dressing added an amazing sweet and salty flavor. We usually don't enjoy sashimi due to its aftertaste, but the sweet sauce in this dish was incredibly delicious. The sushi rolls were also tasty, satisfying our appetite and leaving us wanting more. What truly stood out was the owner, who greeted us and engaged in a conversation about our dining experience. We gave this place 4 stars due to limited seating and a menu similar to other sushi places. However, we shared ideas with the owner on how to attract more customers. The restaurant has since been rebranded to focus solely on sushi and sashimi.

Last week, our first time was that we went to this place. but it's not like that. I'm sure it's not the last time. we enjoyed the evening very with the attentive service, with the first class dressed and alcohol and with the decent price. we'll be back soon.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. They offer large portions at affordable prices, and the atmosphere is always well-maintained and inviting.
