The Pirate Cove - El Mirage

Our first time here was December 20th. The staff was great and the food was just as brilliant. Love the bacon wrapped shrimp, but it's something I can only have once every 6 months. It is rich and very, very good. The second time was with our daughter. Eat quite brilliant.

The food was delicious every time we eat here. The waitress is always friendly and attentive. Yes, the listed menu / food is in Spanish, but it is a Mexican seafood restaurant. I'd rather read quesadilla, then crack cheese, myself. The menu also had English on it and they will answer all questions. Desserts are delicious, great music plays, and there is a very nice bar top you can order full meals. Love this place!

IHad the fish tacos, rice bean plate. It was great n made home chips loved salsa. Sa in the terrace w nice. Carla was excellent nice n friendly. Hubby had El Rancho plates. Our first time here, but not our last.

If you drive to Rio Mirage, just go around the corner and get better food! The most authentic Mexican food in the area and the service is fantastic, Anna was so great! All our dishes were perfect and tasty as if they were Grandma recipes, not American versions. Only the complaint that I could still have to do is that the chips could be better, but different from this his VERY good!

Can't wait to come back, the drinks were great, I had a peach margarita and tried my dude's michelada. All the food was delightful and the server was very friendly and explained what things were and made great recommendations for the more indecisive members of our party. Our only regret is that we haven't been in sooner when we live so close by.
