We visited the restaurant in our trip to El Escorial. The staff was kind and attentive, the food was incredible good. We loved the experience. Totally recommended!!
We had an enjoyable meal on a Friday night, the only people there for most of the time. Helpful and attentive staff. The food was good but not exceptional. Beware if you use "the fork "to book a table, we booked a table for 8pm only to find the restaurant didn 't open until 9pm
We were visiting “Valle de Los caídos, and Monastery”, felt really hungry and had no time to think where to go, it was close to the end of lunch time hours, so we searched trip advisor. Made a reservation within seconds, showed up, and found this classic high end air restaurant in the middle of this tiny town, not having expectations because of the “no time decision” lunch, and SCORED big!!!! Lovely staff, amazing specials and suggestions, the Cochinillo was one of them and the lamb also, clean food, simple and tasty as we couldn’t believe our watery mouths as we kept silent making all this crazy sounds while we took each bite with pleasure!!! So lucky we got to eat here, I will totally come back when I’m Madrid , I will even drive out there to eat again another amazing dish!
Not any longer what it used to be. Still good but the food was only average and service has been more attentive in the past. Perhaps just a bad day....
Food was very high quality. I had Salmorejo, very nice and creamy, it was my favorite. Pastel de cabracho, grilled goat cheese, grilled vegetables, all this as starter to share. Portions were very big. As main I had duck with sauce of red fruit. It was well cooked and sauce was very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
