What Kristi Kelley doesn't like about Slim Chickens:
The food is good but they never get the order right. I picked up a free meal tonight because I asked for all drums in my wing meal last time and they did not get it right. I thought surely they will get it right this time. Got home and zero drums this time. This is so ridiculous.. View all feedback.
The food is tasty, but they consistently mess up my orders. I even picked up a free meal tonight because I had requested all drumsticks in my wing order last time, and they didn't fulfill it. I thought for sure they would get it right this time, but when I got home, there were no drumsticks at all. This is absolutely frustrating.
I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich and chicken strips we ordered. It's a fantastic place to eat!
The chicken tenders and fries were delicious and wonderfully seasoned!
The food is delicious, and you typically don't have to wait long to be served.
While Slim's Chicken is not primarily known for their fries, they could certainly improve that aspect of their menu. I recently went through the drive-thru and ordered fries—not even a small size—and was shocked by what I received. The fries were thin like shoestrings and lacked any flavor at all. Given the price, I was astonished at how little I got; it was just ridiculous. At McDonald's, you at least get a decent portion when you order a small fry, but here, the quantity was far less. Honestly, if they're going to offer such a small serving for $2.99, they might as well remove fries from the menu altogether.
