Griffin - El Dorado

I really enjoy dining at Griffin. It’s a lovely setting for a romantic date, a family dinner, or a casual meal with friends or colleagues. The food is outstanding, and the live music always provides excellent entertainment. The atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a meal or drinks with friends. They offer a wide selection of wine, beer, and spirits. Visiting Griffin is an absolute must when you're in El Dorado.

Wow! I visited a restaurant in Texas, and it truly left a lasting impression on me. The service was exceptional! I was captivated by the history of the building, especially during the tour led by the manager. I’m definitely planning a return trip for the music festival. I highly recommend everything on the menu, but I must highlight the chicken and waffles—without a doubt the best I've ever had!

Although Ken, the bartender, was coughing tonight, he still managed to provide excellent entertainment and service!

It's nice for El Dorado. We had the Po-Boy and the Portobello mushroom dish. The mushroom dish was great! Great music on Thursday or special events, good selection of drinks, but I would expect better for the price.

This place has a pretty decent menu that changes with the season and the local produce/food. Some of the items are more expensive than I like, but most are fairly priced. The charcuterie board was laughable and I won’t order it again, but otherwise I have enjoyed everything I ordered. Great place for live entertainment like music or comedy routines. Always something going on and something for everyone. Have enjoyed my times there for the most part. Not a perfect place but I appreciate what they are trying to do. The photo I am including is of their spicy chicken sandwich with slaw and house made pickles. It was pretty good. It’s not somewhere that I frequent, but it’s nice to have something like this in town.
