Sa-wooei - El Cerrito

We absolutely love the food at Sa-Wooei! It is fantastic. The restaurant's design is quirky and unique, resembling a tow truck perched above the parking lot of a questionable motel. They also offer take-out if you prefer. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

This restaurant is one of the best, if not the best, Thai restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. Despite its unusual location and exterior appearance in the middle of a parking lot next to a motel, the food is excellent, authentic, and delicious. My wife, who lived in Thailand for 8 years, said it was the only place in the Bay Area that she found authentic. I only wish it had been closer to me sooner so I could have tried it earlier.

My family and come here at least three times a month. I think we have tried the entire menu and nothing disappoints. I highly recommend this restaurant owned and operated by a husband and wife, absolutely delicious!!!

Sweet lady that took my order. She was very kind and polite. Very cozy here, it felt very comfortable. What caught my eye was the location that is right in front of the hotel. So I was curious enough to try it. Prices food are good. Parking: Not a whole lot but there is parking on the street or across the way.
