Little Kathmandu - El Cerrito

I absolutely love this food! I regrettably forgot to take pictures of all the other dishes I've ordered and enjoyed on previous visits. I highly recommend the saag paneer, and all the chicken dishes are fantastic! I ordered the chicken shish kebab, and while it wasn't what I expected at first, it turned out to be even better once I started eating! The spices made me feel so healthy! The carrots and vegetables were cooked perfectly and juicy. I snapped a picture of my meal; it was so warm and filling that I now need to try the momos!

I drove from San Francisco, and I have no regrets. This restaurant serves delicious food that tastes fresh, and the atmosphere is clean and organized. The prices are very affordable for the quality they provide, and the service is outstanding.

A friend recently introduced us to this restaurant, and it was fantastic! The bread was outstanding, and the biryani was the best I've ever had. The tikka masala and saag were excellent as well. I'm so glad to have discovered this hidden gem!

This place has really nice people and makes orders quickly and accurately, but we didn't have a good experience with any of the the food in our takeout order. It's odd to have Indian food be bland, but it was. The chicken vindaloo wasn't like any vindaloo we've ever experienced; red pepper flakes resuscitated it a little, but not much. One of the naans was doughy and undercooked. I honestly don't know what was going on with the Thai iced tea; it had a flavor that coated the tongue and left my partner and I making scientific guesses as to what was going on there. We never found a satisfactory explanation. All this, and we both ended up with stomach trouble too. I had really high hopes, but I cannot recommend this place. I wasn't going to post anything about it I want small businesses to thrive, and sometimes kitchens have off nights but the stomach trouble pushed it across the threshold.

Absolutely fantastic! the samosa chaat, mango leti and masala are all so good. love this little place
