Valor - El Campello

Over priced, over rated and very poor service. Six of us ordered breakfast. Order checked by our server. Very few customers at time of ordering yet from the first order was set up, it took almost half an hour before everyone had received their order.....and items were still missing and order was wrong! Coffee was cold and tasteless and the toastada was was the worst I've ever had in Spain. No pepper provided and not enough tomato to do the full order. All in all, very poor service and overpriced for what we received. First and last visit from us. There's plenty of other cafes etc that offer better service, better meals and better value than here.

This is part of a chain, run by chocolate manufacturers to support their product, but they also offer a great (if bread based) breakfast good rolls, ham, cheese, croissants, coffee, fresh orange juice and last, but by no means least, a wide range of different drinking chocolates and churros, the traditional spanish breakfast doughnut. These are not over sugared, and are, of course, made fresh for you. We were here for Easter, and the local population packed it out. Open from 8 for breakfast through to afternoon tea (they even offer that, but no one has tea when you can have hot chocolate of this quality so good it's wicked).

We visit without fail every time we're in town, and our trip wouldn't be complete without it! Lovely surroundings, service is fast and polite and the desserts are top notch.

Chocolate Valor, vistas al mar y un camarero simpático. Nada más que añadir.
