Estilo Campo - El Calafate

Many of the older reviews are outdated. I went to this buffet for a great fast lunch. Good salad bar options (I wanted salad and vegetables and large portions) meat is ready to be cut as you order it. I came here two days in a row because I wanted fast. Good quality meat and sausage and with the buffet there are many possibilities. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend it very much. Also some Chinese foods if you want a variety of meat and potatoes in Argentina.

Land style has nothing. The attention of the staff is not pleasant. The quality of the products is low. There are no many foods. It's not enough to repeat the food.

Terrible food, 500 pesos per person (it's all you eat buffet, but it's really not worth when the food is so bad that you don't want to eat anything). And, surprise surprise surprise after you sit to eat, they come to ask if you want to drink something, and then discover that if you ask DON’T to drink something, they charge you 60 pesos more (for each person). Also the service is terrible, they hardly speak Spanish (or English), and sometimes it feels like they do as if they don't understand if you complain about something, for example. The guy behind the counter made fun of us (and was not ashamed) when we were not sure if it was all you can eat. Desserts are also terrible. Everything seems dirty. Really, worst experience in the city. All large places to eat in the main street serve you great food for half (or less) of the insulting price of this place invites you.

I was here a few years ago, and then it was completely fine with the value for money. Now we were there, style is more or less the same. Like others, it now wrote with Chinese background music. The food was like in a cheap Chinese everything you can eat. The Asado was okay. All in all, the food was of low quality and the price was higher as in an a la carte restaurant (paid 870 Pesos for 2 persons dinner, a small bottle of water and two cans of beer). The staff was friendly. What I don't understand is that some of the staff in the kitchen smoke, it was possible to see this thru the always open door to the kitchen.

... still interesting for lower budgets. Environment is a mixed-up between China (chinese music in the background and Patagonia, which is kind of weird to say the least. In terms of food, I especially recommend the BBQ and deserts. Overall, its more of a canteen than a restaurant, and the all-you-can-eat formula is going to make you explode if this is what you're looking for (I personally like it! .
