Contribute FeedbackTaft Diaz provides a chic ambiance with delicious drinks like the mezcal Negroni and savory black sesame dessert. The mixed reviews on service are redeemed with exceptional waitstaff like Charlie, Oscar, and Desiree. The food, including standout dishes like Grilled Clam Tostada and Roasted Bok Choy, receives high praise, though with some inconsistency in portion sizes. With excellent service and delectable dishes, Taft Diaz is a memorable dining experience worth trying, sure to impress even the most discerning diners in El Paso.
Think of this like the cafe restaurant cum bar in a trendy art gallery or niche musuem. Supposedly Stanton House, in which Taft Diaz sits, is a boutique hotel but actually its not especially good at being a hotel. Mostly its an art installation inside an architectural experiment. Which is fun, if not super practical. Food is good, although coming in overpriced very bijou portions. Barman is cheerful and keen. Service: Dine in
