The presence of bees can be inconvenient for some, but it's just a part of nature! While the prices for food and drinks are on the higher side, I still plan to return. This was my second time renting a cabana at Sycuan. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Retreat Pool Cabanas:
I reserved a daybed for my friend and me, expecting excellent service and a relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, the waitress was rude, unprofessional, and ultimately seemed intoxicated. We had to go to the bar ourselves to get our drinks, which is not what you should have to do when paying for a daybed. We had a great time! However, there was a problem with bees that forced our server to go to a bar that was much further away. In the end, they stopped serving open alcoholic drinks at the bar because of the bees, even though the cabana two down seemed to keep getting drinks (interesting, right?). Katelynn was fantastic and did her absolute best despite the situation.
Katelynn was fantastic and very attentive to our needs. The food was good, but I would have preferred more variety in the wing flavors. It was a slow day, but the weather was perfect, and we loved having the side pool mostly to ourselves.
I had a wonderful time lounging by the pool! The food and drinks were excellent!
Awesome service but the drink prices are way too expensive!!!
Food= so-so. Beach sliders burger were dry, no teriyaka flavor. Wings overcooked. Guacamole-good. Drinks-ok. All expensive. Service was excellent.
