When I called to place an order, the person who answered the phone informed me that the business has shut down and the owner is retiring. Yelp should update the listing for Kips Cafe in El Cajon to reflect this closure. I will miss their delicious egg rolls and the super tasty Kung Pao chicken, which were our go-to orders. I wish the owner the best in retirement, but it would have been nice to see a sign announcing the last day of business.

You can forget about them checking in on you, refilling empty glasses, or asking how the food is. It's puzzling that they've been in business for so long. There are plenty of other healthy dining options in El Cajon with excellent service and meals that won't leave you reaching for Pepto-Bismol afterward.
