Went for dinner and cocktails. It was surprisingly not busy for a weekend evening. Bartender was superb. We had a great dinner, tuna sashimi, filet and steak salad. My salad and beef medallions were delicious. Medallions cooked to a perfect medium rare and iceberg wedge with awesome homemade bleu cheese dressing. I have eaten here dozens of times. Service is generally good. Atmosphere is unique, yet approachable. Food and beverages themselves are always a “toss-up.” The pork ribs, and blue cheese house salads are the best items on the menu. They have good burgers and chicken dishes, as well. Avoid seafood. Geo Geogeske has a culinary miracle on the menu; their shishito peppers are the best. Word on the street is that the chef learned under the tutelage of 3 Michelin Chef from Yellowtail restaurant in Las Vegas and Dallas. And the price That Geogeskes charges is quite inexpensive. Love this place ! sy
The food was great as always. The drinks were great. And we were served by the most charming waiter. Definitely great!!
Appreciated an abundance of healthy options here: particularly salad and proteins. Got the guac and chips appetizer and appreciated the amount of guac and that the chips were larger and dense for dipping. Got the Thai salad with chicken and there could have been more chicken and it could've been juicier/more tender, though dressing was just right. My friend's salad; however, had a ton of dressing and wilted lettuce that seemed old. Staff was friendly and floors could use some cleaning. Blasé blasé.
Cooks drink beer in The restroom the little old chef woman can 't cook and the kitchen looks like a health violation in general roaches walking along bar no beard guards or hair nets the cooks don 't use gloves
