Many years of serving excellent Mexican food. A lot of history with this restaurant. Beautiful mural depicting history on the outside wall. One of a kind. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
What Off Grid 90's Kid doesn't like about El Jacalito:
Beware. They don't honor the prices they have online. Ordered tampiqueña steak over the phone thinking it would be $9, came out to $14 each. When I asked about it at pick up, they refused to honor their online pricing. Beware. View all feedback.
The food quality, the service and the people at this are all amazing. They make you feel right at home, the service is quick and the food (home made quality) is amazing.
Greetings from Mexico City, I have never been. But I'm looking at Google maps.
Love, love, love this restaurant. Their soup Is the best. Chips and salsa-delicious. Chicken tacos awesome. I try to eat here once a week.
This place is small but the food is MIGHTY!!! So delicious!!!We ordered chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, quesadillas, and a huevo con papa y chorizo burrito. The portions are good, the prices are budget friendly, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Not a piece of food was left on ALL plates. The beans are quite tasty and if I had more room in my stomach, I’d definitely get a bean burrito. We left stuffed and very content!I highly recommend this place!!! Kid-friendliness: There are the options of beans and cheese burritos, quesadillas, and the usual kid friendly Mexican food available for kids. There is no kid menu, but my kids did eat every last bite.
Today’s (Saturday) breakfast special: a small bowl of menudo and a plate of Huevos con Jamon. Also Huevos a la Mexicana available with a side of menudo.Pure deliciousness on a Saturday morning.Inexpensive breakfast as well.Great customer service.
