We drive from Nevada just for a day trip for there pizza and salad.

Bongiovanni's restaurant is no longer closed. They shut down briefly for a remodel, but they're back open and serving these best pizza in the East County.

It was a nice first visit, stopped by after a day hike. Food was good and authentic. Service was good.
