La Nona - El Bolsón

We stopped for a break and had a wonderful coffee and the cakes looked so good that we just had to try one. And he didn't disappoint us! Great place to sit on the sidewalk and watch people as they pick you up in the afternoon.

Lovely cakes! It is nice to sit with a coffee/tea and also have a good bakery with good cakes. Nice terrace to sit down.

Get half a dozen cakes and a coffee with milk, and your day will be perfect.

Almost everything in this bakery is delicious. the empanadas were particularly good, well-conditioned filling and leaflet. so sweet cakes are also amazing, we had a jam-filled bag and another milk sweet filler and they were both great. super friendly staff, everything has a reasonable price. the outdoor seats could hear a little more shade, but that's my only complaint. It's definitely worth a visit!

After driving from bariloche with wonderful lacustian landscapes in almost all the curves of the road, we arrive to the quiet and charming village of the Bolson. our main destination was a visit to the pagan square, a beautiful park in the city center with a pond. We came especially for the regional trade fair the Bolsón organized several days a week in the park. However, before going through the market, with so many positions of various local artists, farmers with fruits of the forest, jams, cheeses, etc., besides musicians, we only had to have lunch, we expected empanadas. a short walk to the right of the park, we find the nona, a bakery / confectionery very cozy in San Martin, on the same side of the street. turned out they had the best empanadas of the trip, very light, puffed bark, delicious fillings and very reasonable prices. They also make huge ham, cheese and egg sandwiches in a special bread that is braided and multilayered. like a leaflet... we had to leave room for several of so delicious cakes, cookies, cakes. not only everything we ate was like greedy pigs, but the service was genuinely friendly, even fun.
