I didn't like the shashlik at all; the meat was reheated instead of grilled, and the onion slices were tough. There was very little sauce. End of update. The ambiance is nice, modern, and rustic. The service was very friendly and attentive. COVID-19 measures were implemented. The menu was well-chosen, with a daily specials menu. The food was good, though not absolutely outstanding. Criticisms: The spaetzle were too soggy and tasteless. The onions and sauce with the roast beef were under-seasoned, and a small side salad should have been included with the plaice for €19.50. Nevertheless, it's a recommendable restaurant.

We're very happy that the staff at the Happach campsite recommended this restaurant to us. If our vacation weren't over, we would definitely come back.
