Cafe Tulipan - Einsiedeln

The hungry ones had some flavour. München, the others blueberry smoothie and papaya sunrise smoothie. I took a cappuccino and an apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce. All just gorgeous! Out on the terrace enjoying the view towards the monastery.

I have been here several times and always appreciate the warm atmosphere and great, friendly service. The location is the best and it's hard to beat the view on the terrace.My favorites are the Flammkuchen and Apfelstrudel and also the great variety of organic teas!

We spent a week in Swizerland and as usually we visited the beautiful little town of Einsiedeln. In the heart of Einsiedeln you find Café Tulipan which is the perfect place for a coffe and a delightful Apfelstrudel which can be served at the terass overlooking the monastery. You may also have delicious homemade soups and other delicious foods and beverages.I highly recommend this café!

Excellent location, great bakery (buy Apfelstrudel by the cm), luncheon and à la carte of very fine quality.

We stopped by Cafe Tulipan for lunch which is right next to the Monastery of Einsiedeln.If you know the place; you know it's nice but also a tourist trap. So we not expected much when ordering our lunch. We ordered several dishes, to mention is the flamcake which is pretty good and reasonable priced. We finished our stay with coffee and cake.At the end, we paid much less as expected due to the very reasonable pricing.Service was fast and friendly; even the place was almost full.We also shopped at the bakery which is open during sundays.
