Reviews summary
Nestled in the heart of Stornoway, this restaurant is a mixed experience for patrons. While the coffee shines as a standout feature, with rich flavors and friendly service that leaves a lasting impression, the food offerings, such as toasties and paninis, fall short of expectations. Diners have cited issues like unremarkable taste and limited menu variety. The ambiance and cleanliness are commendable, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, limited facilities for families and discrepancies in pricing have raised concerns among visitors. Overall, the restaurant has potential but needs to elevate its food quality and service consistency to truly impress.

The coffee at this restaurant is excellent! We tried a Cortado and a Flat White, both of which had a fantastic depth of flavor and a creamy finish with no bitterness. I would highly recommend a visit if you enjoy good coffee.
Seriously scrumptious coffee, consistently delicious can never get enough, don’t pass by highly recommend
I went to this restaurant for lunch today with my family and do not recommend it. There were no facilities for changing babies, and I had to change my baby on the floor of the toilet. We ordered 2 paninis, 2 toasties, and some drinks. Each panini and toastie was priced at £5.45, and I would have expected a small side of salad, garnish, or crisps. However, these items were served on their own on a saucer. The table we sat at was damaged, and I was very disappointed considering we spent £26 on lunch.
A friend and I went to this restaurant for breakfast and we only ordered plain cheese toasties and two coffees. The cheese in the toasties tasted like plastic and didn't seem to be freshly made. We noticed that there were different prices for tourists and locals. Maybe they were busy because of a festival, but we were not satisfied with our experience and cannot recommend this place.
