First visit under new management. Very quiet Sunday night. Maybe due to covid restrictions? Restaurant almost looked closed. But in spite of the small numbers, the Chef did cook up some pretty good foods. Impressed. Will come back for more variety. The Hor fun had good char flavour and ingredients. Chicken with buttered rice was an interesting twist. Flavourful. Ginger and chilli was good. Pretty good value $11.90 pl... View all feedback.

the place inside looks a bit down, the staff is nice and helpful. the eating is above average, some seem like they are only heated in the microshaft and others can say they are freshly cooked. View all feedback.

The recent dining experience at the Mama Malaya recalled my experience of having a quick dinner at this restaurant. I always cannot categorize if this restaurant is a Malaysian or Chinese restaurant. Maybe a Chinese restaurant running at Malaysia should be the most appropriate because I had similar experience at one of the Chinese restaurant when I travelled at Penang, where serves some Malaysia dishes and dim sims. We ordered the prawns with Sambal sauce, laksa and a plate or roasted pork. Prawn dish was definitely weaker than those from the Mama Malaya in terms of taste and portion. Laksa had a lot of rooms to be improved. Having said that the roast pork was not bad at all. It was surprise to have crunchy crackling?, which saved marks. Do not waste your time and money on this place. Food is way below average, portion size is tiny. Noodle box is still a better choice.
Fast service, great pricing, amazing food. Will come back for sure

Fried beans dish was delicious. We had to help ourselves to jugs of tap water and disposable cups. It was a pleasant experience.
